I dont get all the Bard hatred..

Reading stuff like there are useless.. dont deal any dmg etc etc...

Did you guys never see a Bard perform well since HW?

Our dps is a bit lower compared to melees but it always was..
A good Bard can easy reach 1k + in Raids.
You push magic Dps with Foes and Battle Voice.
And when theres nothing to shoot at, you can get your mates some sweet Mana / TP reg.

Bards arent lack luster or anything.. I think most people just cant play them now and are pissed because of WM.
I have 0 problems in Raids with my Bard and my DPS is just fine.
People need to get real and learn to play...

I feel the same way as well but all it leads too is more harm for telling people to learn to play since Heavensward indeed brought some changes for BRD. They are improving and trying to coordinate with the players.

Then there is a difference is skill levels that people don't seem to quite understand. Someone that puts alot of time in this game has a higher possibility of progressing through content much faster and better than someone who doesn't. On the other side of the coin, there are some that don't even put as much time but are naturally great at playing the game and they grasp it quick.

There is a variety of different skill levels in this game. The hardcore raidgroups sometimes proves that Brd itself is perfectly fine for people that adapted and understood the job really well. For others that understand it but don't like the changes. Then there are the set that hates it and won't grasp it all. Or they love it and they can't grasp it.

It's less "drawing your bow" and more "thinking for a bit about if you really want to shoot that arrow".

Next expansion, Bards will all be pacifists doing nothing but playing songs because after all that consideration, they realized they really didn't want to shoot that arrow.

That's the Paragon route. The Renegade path will be while you decided you didn't really want to shoot the arrow, instead you really wanted to STAB them with the arrow. New song-stance: you lose all your range and become melee, but everything is back to instant cast.

Ì don't care about people complaining, I just mock them when I know they're a) bad and/or b)whining about something that isn't changing.


We've seen enough bards crying more than the average 1-month old, I don't see why you find something productive to cry about.
