Yeah I'm going to wait longer than I need because healers are little whiny brats who want to lawyer their way to average play. Or why don't I just play with healers who do their best, as mine do.

This entire argument is silly. A competent healer who is going to be clearing savage is going to be dpsing whenever possible, and that's all there is to it.

I've heard of 6500 DPS being sufficient to clear... and 8000 DPS being insufficient. The trick, of course, is that this all fails to account for AoE damage sources going on, exact strategies, things like positioning of mobs for auto-AoE parts of the rotation (eg Elixir Drive), etc

Point is, the requirement on DPS is currently very high, and players are pretty much going to have to have some healer DPS added as well.

How are healers doing with dpsing without any accuracy? Or did the hardcore groups that already clear do melded acc acc to get around this?

For faust the WHM can do 800 dps for a little bit, but then needs to heal or the tanks die, then some point afterwards the scholar also has to start healing.
Lock out of 5 seconds for cleric stance in between isnt recommended when the tank can die in 2 seconds.

So maybe its time the dps L2P instead of crying about tank and healer dps.

I think some people forget the healers main priority is to heal. I know! Crazy right? Dps at start is fine but the tanks hp can drop fast and cleric lock is bad for that.

Where did the person ever say healers should go full dps? He said healing and dps, and yes you can do this even on oppressor. It's directed at the weird gremlins who don't want to do any dps at all and carry around that yoshi quote as validation, as if any raid group is going to pick them over a healer who does the same healing and some dps because yoshi said so.
