Exactly. And SE can enforce the rules because ywe agreed to them remember? And like you said, if you cheat and you're banned, who are you going to run to?

End of story. If you don't like the fact that I agree with it, you can stop trying to paint me as racist against botters (lolwut?) and start wondering why SE is not being as strict as it claims to be.

1) There are more important things that SE needs to focus on other than the butthurts that QQ about not being able to grind 24/7
2) There is nothing that SE can do to stop these bots because none of them use hook.dlls (At least to my knowledge)
3) the only real way to deal with botters (without destroying the game) is to use a screen reading program that scans the screen for any 3rd party software. This includes fraps, wegame, xsplit, etc. This would cut down the play base..by..A LOT. It is also extremely illegal.

Face it. Bots in FFXIV are not going anywhere. Your best bet is to just go with it...like I did...adapt and survive.
