I'm tired of hearing about bots

the players are so sure you do not investigate,now that the stupid are people who do not use bots!!
My many friends in the game used cheating without problems!!
When you decide to take Decicions?
before someone write it,I pointed out gm, but nothing happened!
banned people using bots so at least remove a lot of money from game!
I know that I've wasted so much time writing only...

In FFXI they had a Special Task Force designed for weeding out RMT and ridding themselves of gil-sellers. Chances are we'll see that here (eventually) but it may be awhile. I'd wager the reason we really haven't seen anything yet is they wanna get enough evidence as to just where all the sellers are coming from. That and/or, due to the game currently being in an indefinite free-trial period they're focusing on the core issues first before the release the almighty ban hammer. I see blatant and obvious bots all over the place.

You see large trains of Lalafell named "Bes" with random last names all following each other and standing around aetherytes while another does a leve to rank them up. I spotted like 3 of that very same bot family in the Hollows last night killing mobs in a single room. Currently they don't actually seem to be harming anyone (yet) so until SE does something about it best to just ignore it. What else can you do?

Not sure if I misunderstood that, but are you calling it bull on that it doesn't hurt anyone? Currently it doesn't really. The economy is overflowed with gil as it is currently, and I haven't really heard news about gil sellers or their websites. You see these people all over the place but I think for now they just hoard all the gil until the population makes a come back. Worst case scenario it may hurt because players see it as if SE doesn't care about cheating. It may also hurt in the long run when these companies start selling their stockpiles and flood the economy with even more gil. That is of course, if SE isn't just waiting to strike and wipe out all their months of hard work.

This is the scenario I'm hoping on currently. Funds and manpower may not give them access to actively go around and ban these individuals at this time.

SE may think that it's a sign of the problems with FFXIV that a lot of people would rather pretend to play (or pretend to play certain aspects of the game like FSH) than actually be in their seat. Maybe, they hope, after many of the problems that people perceive and whine about in the game are fixed, people will stop cheating and botting and players will actually play and the towns will become alive with more than the sound of 24 hour crafting noise.

However, cheaters will cheat no matter how the game is made and no matter how many people like it. It doesn't matter if it's free or pay to play. The truth is allowing botters to exist encourages otherwise honest players to bot and THAT'S what the real harm is. I hope SE is keeping track of botters and will dispose of them once they feel comfortable and they don't feel like they need to prop up their server statistics. I also hope that honest players will get to test out open PVP on obvious botters. I'd live to nail a naked fisher/alchemist hidden in a Coerthas cave with my Lominsan Bhuj.

Every additional crafter makes it harder for you to sell stuff and why should they have the same privilege without doing anything?
If it does't matter, why not start the game with all classes at rank 50 in the first place. Letting your pc run while you do other stuff does nothing but pollute our environment for no reason.
