A lot of this is based on "What Job will belong to what Class?"

I think that is purely irrelevant. I think the unlocking part is 5% of the issue. The real question to me is what classes will those jobs draw traits and skills from. I could say that in order to unlock WHM you have to level Marauder. WHM would still draw its powers and traits from Thaumaturge and Conjurer though so what difference does it make what class unlocks it? ALL of the base abilities are going to be drawn from the classes. The jobs themselves (as stated by the devs) are going to have inherent abilities that you will need to quest for. They will be more focused in their tasks than the classes and more than likely bring more bang for their buck to the table.

I guess what I am saying is that people are thinking that a job unlock hooked to a class will determine its primary role when I think it will matter very little if they plan on keeping the armory system in play. I think it will matter after they choose their role and have limitations that do not allow them to choose certain aspects from other classes they are used to having access to. What they allow people to select from the classes will be the real tell tale of what role that job will serve We will see a higher regard for people serving their role in a party in order to make it function efficiently and more party play overall.
a theory as good as any other maybe, but we assume the jobs will draw abilities from its inherent class because the only thing they did confirm what that Gladiator > Paladin. So based on that I think we can assume that the base class is somewhat related to the job it unlocks and that Marauder unlocking WHM or any type of mage job is probably out of the question.
