This "tank dps" shit has got to stop. It's pure nonsense. To the OP you have the right idea. Save the dpsing for the dps. A tank needs to tank. The WAR infatuation since 3.0 has been nothing short of a nightmare. Sure, their dps is great but at what expense when being MT? Full right side of STR acc with minimal oCD's? And to add insult to injury, so many WAR's have been staying in deliverance stance just to DPS.. This has been a nightmare for healers.

OP- Just read the WAR enthusiasts posts; this is what you hear: "WAR does 8xx dps. WAR out dps this class or that class. Fell cleave this". And so on.

You jokers can fool yourselves all you want. Show me a static, a successful static that uses WAR as MT. Lucrezia and Elysium just cleared A1 savage. You can bet your ass they didn't go 2x WAR. PLD bar none has and shall remain the de facto MT due to it being the epitome of a damage mitigating turtle. PHYSICAL or MAGIC. It's defensive cooldowns are bar none the best in the game. And I love WAR. They're awesome. But the writing is on the wall; so many ppl are flocking to WAR due to its sheer numbers, they're forgetting how to TANK.

**PSA: people stop with the "PLD'S magic mitigation is lacking" tripe. Because guess who was MT in T10, T11, T12 with all of those magical attacks? Especially against Phoenix. 70% of phoenix's attacks were magic. And lets talk Ramuh.. 100% magic Primal.
