Majority =/= all. Which is why I didn't say all. I'm 100% positive there are other mmos where people are jerks to newbies.

Maybe it's a rule in some, but I highly doubt in the majority.

I've been playing mmorpgs for a VERY long time and I've played (to end game) almost every mmo out there. General rule in majority of mmos is to give a brief run down before fights (or at the start, whatever).

That's nice, but it doesn't persuade me.
