Ishgard Housing Transfer System Unfair

I may not own a home, nor do I want one that badly, would it be nice yes, but I am content with my FC room. This transfer is probably more for the people who just stick with their FC rooms not to lose everything if their FC decides to move to Ishgard when they are not present. So it is less about people who want houses being screwed but those untold number of us with fully furnished FC rooms being bent over.

I have a lovely house in the Lavender Beds. I doubt that Ishgard will be very attractive - too cold, severe stone architecture, not to mention dragon pests.

well for the crafter stuff you can do anything to bleed the others dry. doesnt needs a house you know. fact is housing is a unimportant fluff system. why wasting ressources on it. no matter how many plots they open up you wont stop crying. they should remove the housing system altogether for something other.

I'm sure people would stop crying if everyone could buy a plot. Also, newsflash: Everything in the entire game is unimportant fluff.

I can't imagine Ishgard would have more land capacity than the other 3 areas combined, and they can't have more people who own houses than there is capacity in Ishgard tearing down their houses and rushing to get a plot and then some of them demolish their house only to get to Ishgard and none is available. I have a feeling the plots when they go on sale would be available to everyone to purchase... and then if you have a house elsewhere, you can do a transfer and if not, then you can build one. So I don't think it's as big of a deal as people make it out to be, and the ability to purchase a house in Ishgard will probably be the same whether you own a house already or not.

And that would be fine. Because then they actually have to abandon their old plots in a hurry (or risk losing out on available Ishgard spots), rather than sitting on them and trying to sell the rights for a would-be buyer to be present when the land is relinquished (thus forcing the new owner to pay for the same house twice - once to the server, and once (for an obscene amount of money) to the old renter).

As long as having a house in ishgard doesn't net some sort of bonus, like a new feature or w/e, I couldn't care less, I'm happy with my house in Lavender beds, never liked snowy areas anyway.

Um. It kinda seems like you missed the part where they'd be adding more housing...

Maybe you kinda missed thepart where Yoshi's affordable housing for all became a perk limited to 1% of the player base. Even if you adda newhousing location and double the number of wards it will still be horribly limited and smug peoplewill c0ntinue to be smug.

So...adding an entire new housing area with all new wards...ISN'T fixing the housing shortage?

Basic math should show you how limited this 'solution' is.

I don't care about a personal house but FC houses are not purely aesthetic. They get airships, craft bonuses, chocobo stables ect. Sure people might want to move to Ishgard but so do many others who can't even have a house because there isn't enough plots.

The point that flew over your head, I was responding to you saying housing is pointless fluff, The whole game is pointless fluff! But, as you don't enjoy housing they shoulkd remove it? Selfish much? Going on that, they should remove PVP because some dont like it, they should also remove raids, as some dont like that either....... (That was Irony in case you missed the point a second time).

It's not like they should remove it because i dont enjoy it...everyone for themself. It causes too much grief and hate between players who have and these who don't. This is why i think they should remove it.

The pillars areas are pretty small, but the foundation is massive. I think we have only seen like 5%-10% of it.
