    really? and Neverreap is friendly to BLMs? i don't know how anyone can get through Enochain without completely flipping on out on the last boss of Neverreap.

    they even removed the best part about Manawall.

    We got fixed? The fun of bard class was mobility dps, like the devs said we was. Now we are bardmage support dps. (dumbest thing ever). The developers don't even know what bard is, and now the class lost a fun factor that seems will never get back.

    What fix?

    I'd propose having Fire IV work similarly to Blizzard IV, except instead of extending Enochian have Fire IV add 1-3 seconds to Astral Fire each cast. It won't extend it forever but it should make having to duck and weave all of the AOE and telegraphs a bit better.

    I have to agree about the mobility issue. A lot of the fights are not BLM friendly at all because you start casting, and midcast have to move (thus interrupting your spell). Leylines does help, but it's fixed in whichever spot you place it. God forbid other BLMs have the crap luck I've had leveling and place their LL, and instantly become an AOE magnet. xD (No, that's not a real issue. Just a major coincidence for me.)

    There seems to be a big "what are you talking about BLM is fine" sentiment.

    I disagree. Maintaining Enochain and maximum fire 4 uptime is problematic in a lot of fights because of fight mechanics. Ley lines is frustrating to use because as soon as you lay it down you will end up having to leave it for significant periods of time due to fight mechanics. Even baiting an AOE to one side of ley lines doesn't work with much consistency because most enemy attacks are larger than the ley lines ground effects. The best skill we had to avoid moving and maintain uptime, manawall was nerfed significantly and now has less utility as a skill to sustain DPS uptime

    The unnecessary AOE nerfs aside, the main issue most BLMs have is that there is a horribly punishing drop in DPS for up to 30 seconds if you are heavily targeted with Mechanics, more than most other classes. While skill makes this more manageable as well as familiarity with content a few QoL tweaks would go a long way and are needed.

    it's not luck. you place leylines and you move to the left/right edge so that most AOEs targeted at you will still leave the other side open. it's annoying and some AOEs are so big that it doesn't matter but it helps a little bit.

    I agree: Our DMG is perfectly fine and doesn't need to be adjusted. But it's true that we have some problems regarding our immobility and the timer of AF and/or Enochian. A few seconds more would be fine.

    At least you didn't get a clone skill... *cough* Wheeling Thrust/Fang and Claw *cough* While keeping up Blood of the Dragon which can fall of due to mechanics and have to wait for a minute maybe. BLM are fine and BLMs i know who are in statics and raid say its fine.

    Enochian refreshing to 30 seconds always and slightly longer AF duration is about all we need. I do feel sad for Thunder being pushed into the "used once every two weeks" club, though.
