I have to agree about the mobility issue. A lot of the fights are not BLM friendly at all because you start casting, and midcast have to move (thus interrupting your spell). Leylines does help, but it's fixed in whichever spot you place it. God forbid other BLMs have the crap luck I've had leveling and place their LL, and instantly become an AOE magnet. xD (No, that's not a real issue. Just a major coincidence for me.)

it's not luck. you place leylines and you move to the left/right edge so that most AOEs targeted at you will still leave the other side open. it's annoying and some AOEs are so big that it doesn't matter but it helps a little bit.

I agree: Our DMG is perfectly fine and doesn't need to be adjusted. But it's true that we have some problems regarding our immobility and the timer of AF and/or Enochian. A few seconds more would be fine.

I wonder if I can get my FC to help me with experimenting with this...

My experience has been that if I drop Ley Lines the random ground AoEs WILL target me. Circular ones will land precisely on top of my Ley Lines. Column charges will land precisely on top of me. I do stand at the edge of mine but it seems I am always the player with stuff dropped on them, even if there are other ranged. It's probably confirmation bias or something but it FEELS like AoEs like Ley Lines more than mere coincidence should allow.

Perhaps Leylines was truly implemented as a means of baiting AoEs. xD Think of all the uses! lol
