OK... I am not a BRD, I have never played a BRD, but why is everyone ignoring Foe Requiem? It's a huge boost to caster DPS looking at the numbers.

You are correct. In a group of BLMs, a Bard has lots of friends. But if you consider the fact that 14 out of 22 of the available classes use physical damage, this is less useful.
My other wish is for a physical Foe's Requiem.

Foe Requiem requires that you have a bunch of caster dps. But what if your dps is ninjas and dragoons? It's benefit is then minimal. Also, it drains the bards MP ridiculously fast, so it can only be maintained for a few seconds per minute.
Also, if they have to be running tp/mp song, they can't run Requiem.
Well even with 1 caster in your group, it helps, and it doesn't lower your own damage as the other songs do.Foe Requiem requires that you have a bunch of caster dps. But yeah, didn't know how costly it is.
Because you aren't thinking GROUP wise. NIN+Bard+SMN+BLM = lining up cooldowns for MASSIVE burst.Foe Requiem requires that you have a bunch of caster dps. But what if your dps is ninjas and dragoons? NIN uses Trick Attack which increases ALL DAMAGE taken by the monster by 10%, so then the bard sings Foe Requiem and the SMN uses Deathflare and the Blackmage pops cooldowns and suddenly all those DOTS/Ruins/Fire 4's etc...hit EXCEEDINGLY hard. You have a hybrid DPS that can run and gun like the SMN, or stand still like the BLM, a melee which will benefit the from and be a benefit to the Warrior OT, it's like a dream team of massive overpowered turbo burst goodness.
...Sigh...Foe Requiem requires that you have a bunch of caster dps. But what if your dps is ninjas and dragoons? It's benefit is then minimal. Also, it drains the bards MP ridiculously fast, so it can only be maintained for a few seconds per minute.

All of Ninja's mudras are magic damage. Except for shuriken, but who cares about that.
You will not be playing a raid duty without 2 healers...both of which are very much capable of contributing to DPS. So Foe Requiem is already a valuable buff to have.
For any DPS casters (or a Ninja using Raiton, one of its strongest moves), a 10-20% flat damage boost is significant. That's a free B4B or Raging Strikes.
If anyone dies in a raid, it's likely Ballad/Paeon will be necessary. Raise costs tons of MP, death revives you with very little TP.
Anything else is just icing on the cake.
...I would expect people to know this in a thread about BRD, but i guess my expectations are too high.
