Meet a group with 2 WHM that puts both regen and medica II on you, see your mp gone in mere seconds. MP is both mitigation and dps for a DRK. My siphon strike can hardly keep up with the mp drain, and the uptime for blood price is not enough for 4 regen buffs on me.We'll see how this works out for the Bards and Machinists, at the very least it looks a bit more in line with what people were expecting.
As for Dark Knights: They pretty much are working fine as it is now, they can MT and OT well enough. They fixed the biggest bug it currently had, there have been varying different reports on the whole Darkside MP one so it probably requires more testing, and pretty sure the Darkside aura isn't a bug even if they do eventually change it. Plus more changes come as the game goes along anyways, can't expect everything in one patch.

Like I said, there seem to been have varying reports on the issue as I have seen people have claimed that they have had no problems with it despite things like that. Could be they didn't try it with two WHMs doing that, I know I haven't yet and so far my DRK has been doing well when it comes to MP. Either way it may also be something more complicated then the bug with DA affecting multiple targets (it certainly sounds as such to me), which means it could take longer to fix it.

Idunno, but personally I've only ran out of MP as a DRK when I actually use MP heavy skills over and over.
<rant>Yeah...well in a normal 4 man dungeon i normally won't have any mp nor anywhere close to it, but in an 8 man party especially with lots of buffs and debuffs going on, mp drains really quick to the point that it's not even funny. With the mp bug in place I feel I am heavily restricted as a DRK, I can't pop DA+Dark Dance as freely, I can't use DA+Dark Mind as freely either, let alone DA+Souleater. Unless I go out of defensive stance (which is btw suicide in a raid most of the time) to use blood weapon to keep up with it. Also don't forget whenever stoneskin and galvanize wears off, it also take off a chunk of you mp cause it's also a tick! </rant>
It just gets irritating watching my mp get vaporized so much quicker than it's supposed to be.(Heck I have less issue managing my mp when fighting a dummy without blood price on than fighting a raid boss with blood price on due to this bug.)

I wasn't even talking about 4man groups, I was talking about my experience with MP in 8man groups, had no problem sofar. And I have done both MT and OT plenty of times, and often I tend to spend my MP deliberatly because I feel I got too much of it stored and could do some extra minor damage with it, just because.
Healers would appreciate that you use your mp more generously for mitigation purposes. And I second what Kiteless just mentioned. Being a tank is all about mitigation and holding aggro, you are supposed to be generously dishing out DA+Defensive CDs and DA+Souleater once in a while, I am not saying that managing MP is not important, but when having MP management issue with the bug is just it's quite a bit deal, because it's virtually gimping your job quite a bit if you are not taking advantage of those DA+Defensive cooldowns, they are actually better than how most people put it.I wasn't even talking about 4man groups, I was talking about my experience with MP in 8man groups, had no problem sofar. Never said I don't spend enouth of it, just saying that I havn't had any problems, or rather noticed a MP drain bug which hurts my usage/rotation.
I have read a few people posting that the Dark Art bug where it only effected 1 enemy instead of several happened from person to person, so maybe this is the same? Idunno, just sharing my story.
