Where, anywhere, in my post did I mention time = difficulty? Please. Is this some indirect way of asking me to call you a moron? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just say you made a moronic act, and are not actually a moron.

Also way to quote Layton w/o giving credit to him.

I won't stray off topic. Regardless of whether something is long, or short... The skill required to beat it is not determined by the person beating it but the person who designed the thing. Yes, some 10 minute WoW boss battles took skill... The Impossible Game is a 90second game on XBL/iPhones and it requires immense focus and practice to beat. And fights like RDM solo'ing Seiryu and other NMs which took long, long, long, long periods of time took skill. (Whether short difficulty or long difficulty is a better way to gauge skill is COMPLETELY speculation (im looking at you mysterytaru)) And if short (time length) is, FOR EXAMPLE, the better way to gauge skill... How short is too short? Does that mean something that requires 1 millisecond to do that is hard to do the best way to gauge skill? This technically would go under retardedly fast reaction time skills, not retardedly long mental endurance skills which would be under some of the more impressive RDM solo fights.

The point is if something requires skill, it requires skill, if it doesn't require a lot of skill, it doesn't require a lot of skill, if it requires no skill, someone whos done it 1billion times would have the same outcome as someone whos done it their first time. You'll find the majority of things in life take skill to master, but somethings are easy to pick up, and some take time. People are slapping labels on difficulty/skill/time...

The OP's original post had nothing to do w/ time vs skill vs difficulty. It had to do with the annoying forum goers whining that an incomplete game is broken and they can't clear the first piece of real content as fast as people who live and breath excellence. The games going to be updated/fix't/patched/touched up regardless, saying the content needs to be fixed is just redundant when the game still has major mechanic changes to go through.

However, truthfully, I believe (my own speculation) that even if the game is completely balanced/fair, people will still moan and groan and QQ and pollute the forums. It's inevitable. Simply just enjoying the game is out of the question for some people.
