More gender locked clothing

The best solution I can think of is have 2 looks to each piece of gear, 1 that was designed for females, and the other for males. No gender restrictions. You would be able to select which version displayed on your character, so you could have the male version on female character or female version on male character.

Personally, I like making my guy look as slutty as possible, but it's easy to get tired of Taffeta Shawl + Couerl Beach Maro after a while. Moar options please.

I also like some revealing gear for my character.

This is one of the things I really like about GW2 gear, that most gear will be wearable across genders, with some sets having specific male and female versions to keep it balanced. If a gearset gets released, it's either unisex or there are specific male and female sets, not a set for guys and two sets for gals, so both genders have the same access to gear and themed sets. Guys can also get some more revealing pieces. The only problem it runs into is if you don't like a certain look, you can't always get the opposite. Below is an example of Assassin's Garb for female and male.

Clothes are pieces of cloth, they can easily be modified to fit any form. What's the difference between a tube top on a woman between a tube top on a man? Heck, you can't say not for the "masculine male body" whenever Roegadyn women have pretty masculine bodies and can wear the same sets.

Uh, you realize people don't want to see women running around in bikini tops and stuff right? One of my pet peeves is people tanking in bikinis, it's not even fashionable and looks tacky imho. But, I can recognize this being my own personal opinion and not anything morally wrong, so why should I care?

Can men not look feminine? Creepy is a very subjective term.

I dunno, maybe that big Roe would show up to a date in a very nice dress because he and his SO have a loving and understanding relationship? Maybe the hero likes to wear dresses, just as the heroine might want to wear very masculine sets.

There isn't any moral reasoning behind it, SE said so themselves, the lack of female sets being made unisex is literally just SE being lazy.

SE should stop to put gender requirements on gear and just give the gear 2 appearances depending on gender.

The point isn't even just wearing a dress. It's females getting more glamour options because they get dresses and the male equivalent to those dresses. Ie males want sexy clothing options too and they also want long robes that look good or classy. Males want equivalent style options.

You sound ignorant. Give me one good reason why females are able to wear virtually all of the male clothing, whilst males can't do the same on the other side of the fence? I'll never understand it. It's not whether or not you consider males wearing women clothing as 'odd' or for the fact it makes you 'shudder' it's the fact one gender can wear whatever they want, whilst the other gets constant lockouts.

I use south seas talisman + courel briefs on my character (male).

And I intentionally do it.

Because its not common. Just because of that. Do you see men run around in dresse out in the streets all day? No you don't. It think thats because of your biological upbringing. Ethical Stuff and all. lets not take that out into the tiniest detail. you get what i mean and thats enough. all the varations that are possible are wayne because Se follows the "normal" Way. Maybe they cant wear that female dress because of their upbringing? What does the lore says about men wearing female dresses?

How can our Garlean emperor take our WoL seriously when he pops up in a female Dress up instead of manly Armor? I think it's the plain "cliche" route here. SE choose it so and yeah thats it.

The thavinarian bolero is significantly more covering than south seas talisman + coeurel briefs. They are a magnificent combo.
