I've been healing a hell of a lot longer than you have, I can guarantee it.

Unnecessary complexity is *not* a good thing.

That's a sign that you aren't comfortable with the class yet and need to practice more, not an indicator of having too much going on. I'm the same way with ARC because I just started leveling it and haven't gotten used to playing it yet, and so far I only have one hotbar worth of skills available to me. Same with PGL, and I have even fewer skills there at this point.

Meanwhile, I can do the DRG rotation in my sleep because it's pure muscle memory to me by now.
It's this way with *every* class that has buffs that need to be kept up. Especially things that are capable of having a 100% uptime. This isn't "comfort" issues, this is "there's entirely too much shit going on" and some of the spell effects on boss abilities sure aren't helping.

Again, you're arguing to have abilities just for the sake of abilities.

I don't use half of my spells on a regular basis. Too situational. Instead, they sit and waste space.

AST doesn't have too many buttons yet, but I sure as hell have too many situational abilities that are borderline useless. And watching the draw timer is relatively boring.
