Doesn't work that way. It's level-based. At level 50, it used to be 266 MP, regardless of the damage. At level 60, that value is now 884 MP per Energy Drain.

Only the self-healing component of Energy Drain scales with your damage. (Ie. if you're ED'ing for MP only, it doesn't even matter how much you hit - as long as you don't miss. If you miss, it's 0 MP).

Guess I misunderstood the way it works, then. Regardless, it's not a net gain to Dissipate for MP on longer fighters, it's a deficit. You're better off spending those Aetherflows on other abilities.

It's the worst spell that has ever been created lol. Dissipation does not boost indomitability and lustrate (test it yourselves), has a 3 minute horrible cooldown, and on top of that it doesn't boost DPS (just healing potency).

So basically, you kill your own fairy without being able to resummon her for the next 30 seconds to boost your physicks, adloquiums and succors by a mere 20%. Useless as ****.

If you do it because you don't have mana and need the stacks of aetherflow for energy drains, let me clarify something to you:

1 - Resummoning the pet at level 60 costs 1768 mana.
2 - A single energy drain gives you back 884 mana.
3 - The only content where you could ever struggle to keep up with your mana as a SCH is Alexander. Have fun killing your own fairy for the next 30 seconds, resummoning her for 1768 mana, and then seeing your 3 energy drains miss now that accuracy on healing gear has been completely removed (you'll exactly go with 354 base accuracy to alexander, wish you some nasty luck trying to land anything there that isn't a bio, a bio II or a shadow flare).

    So yeah.

    Never used it.

I don't often run out of aether stacks. emergency tactics is an amazing skill. which I tend to spam instead of lustrates or indomitables.

and if my mp is getting low then I'll typically burn any remaining charges on energy drains whenever aetherflow is off cooldown. which in some cases can add up to about 6k mp if I haven't used any stacks in the last 60 seconds..

lustrate is insta cast which can be nice, but often it's just as easy to precast emergency tactics and adlo. and save the aether stack.

all in all it's incredibly rare that I find myself desepratly needing stacks or lacking mp. add to that that dissipate doesn't buff lustrate or indom. and dissipate is totally useless

Yeah, it's a terrible spell. I wish I could say it's useless, but it's not even useless, it's worse, because using it is more detrimental than beneficial. The only reason I suppose hasn't been fixed yet is because SCH is already too mandatory in raid content they don't want to make the job even more powerful even if it's a little, so keeping this spell useless is their way of not overbuffing the SCH.
