    so while 2.4s might be "ideal" it doesn't mean it's practical. det still holds 70% of its old value (since 30% of damage came from AA's) making it stronger than crit prepatch. and crit post-patch has a crit damage multiplier. a big deal for a job that holds 30% in crit buffs.

    now unless the value of skill speed went up significantly i find it hard to believe that any SS is going to be worth it. i mean skillspeeds value would literally have to double from pre-patch

    AA's were only 22.3% of a Dragoons overall DPS. Depending on how much they nerfed AA's, it fell to around 18-20%.

    Also, currently in 3.0, there is no gear optimisation. There's only one set of end-game gear. You cannot optimise. Until we know what Alexander Normal/Savage gear is like, we cannot make any calculated decisions on "what holds more value", as we have no other stat-values at that baseline to compare it to.

    on a 1175 3m parse, my autos were 197 dps, or about 16.7% of my dps

    the extra skill speed on top of its benefits for gcd/ph and ht uptime (without a certain amount, they fall off before you refresh)/increased dot damage, reaching the 2.40 plateau lets you comfortably get another geirskogul in your rotation before the next botd is up. it's definitely worth it imo

    as for crit rate.. i think our crit rate is too low right now for crit rate to truly shine. my average crit rate @i179 is around 16%-17%. when you combine litany+ir it's nice and the crit damage increase is probably noticeable, but outside of that, i think det should be stronger point for point until overall crit rate improves in a gear tier or two

    anyway; is it worth using life surge on a f&c/wt starting from chaos thrust, or should you save it for the 70 potency high full thrust?

    HT - [BFB + BL] - ID - [POT] - DIS - [BOTD+IR] - CT - [PS] - 4TH - [GK] - TT - [JUMP] - VP - [LS] - FT -> Blow jumps


    As for Life Surge, I haven't a clue how to use it efficiently yet.... I just use it off-cooldown.

    that's really solid compared to mine, nice. i think low ping heroes can tweak it to get more jumps off while fully buffed though (and it looks like you missed PH)

    HT (BFB+BL) > ID (xpot) > Dis (IR+BoTD) > CT (PS+LSW) > 4th (Jump) > PH (SSD/DFD) > TT (SSD/DFD) > VT (LS+GK) > FT > 4th

    i dont think casting the first GK early will do much for the rotation, so i think pairing it with LS works out well

    Yeah, yours looks slightly better. Where's your GK though?

    EDIT: Just saw your edit. Yeah, you can die it in with anything, that's why I really like GK. The animation is so short and its literally instant.

    Go BL -> BFB, not BFB -> BL if it clips. I don't get any clips doing it like this.
