if you'd only miss 1 tick of chaos thrust and have another DRG in the pt for some reason that keeps disembowel up, i imagine you can do TTT4 twice before IDC4 for a slight increase
can anyone confirm the math on that?

Maybe that's what SE wants and they designed it so we can worry more about positionals than clipping dots? Or i wonder if they actually base durations of new abilities and HT/PH buffs on a "model rotation" that the developers use. They seem to have some knowledge of popular rotations, and like fighting game developers construct frame data based on potential combos/links, I wonder what SE expects us to play like. Or, maybe they don't use "rotations" and they base content off of willy-nilly leniant derp drg crap.
cant really parse properly because of overworld lag, but at i179 with full law upgraded, dps should be around 1125-1175ish depending on how good your run is, with xpot food and party buff
saw a 4277 jump crit fully buffed lol

Jesus. Do we have any other similarly-geared DPS classes to measure that against?
Oooh, this makes it less complicated for me as a controller user. I can just use /chotbar change at the end of each combo to auto change sets into a set that has both 4th hits and heavy/phleb. After that, since heavy and phleb leads into static combos, I can just use that to another set with specific combos. And still without incurring macro's queue penalty! Nice!
I've been keeping my eyes on this thread but there's one thing I don't understand. Why is a ~2.4 second GCD ideal for Dragoon?
It's around 1 PPS more with another Dragoon and the GK/BotD rotation is a lot more complex. Instead of remembering "BOTD#1 = GK after CT, BOTD#2 = GK after FT" etc, it's all over the place. I'd rather wait and see what Alexander gear will look like, but at around 2.15 GCD, you can switch back to our old IDC/TTT rotation.
1) There's a point where after 40s, BotD will fall off if you do not have 2.4 GCD... Unless you wanna skip a GK usage, which is an overall DPS decrease
2) It allows you to pop BotD instantly, weaving it in between a Vorpal Thrust and Full thrust, allowing you to pop an early GK, increasing your GK's per minute
3) Makes it so PH + HT never falls off.
Now I'm 60 and I've done some endgame-ish stuff, played around with the skills and how it works, I'm gonna do my write up on the rotation tomorrow and update the OP of the thread. I'm sure Aiurily and Thendiel can confirm that 2.4s is very ideal.
This is why I like you Thendiel. You actually sit down and do the Math. I just throw numbers into my spreadsheet and it spits out stuff without checking a lot of things, lmao.
But it's good to know that both our models give us the same conclusion: H - IDC4 - P - TTT4 is best rotation until around 2.15 GCD.
1.2k is what I predicted the second I found out about the i190 weapons and gear. The exact number was 1224 DPS without taking into consideration Crit Damage and DoTs Skillspeed buff.

yeah, 1200ish with ravana wep and a smoother rotation/opener should be fairly feasible
Doing about 1100 or so at 3:50 on BLM without Foe's on a dummy, i180 weapon, mostly i160 or less otherwise. Have only done a couple tries though.
