    Its been ~3 days of issues and 2 additional days of maintenance.
    There are lots of MMO games out there now that no longer charge subscriptions, and they don't have this kind of downtime. Its not whining.

    You want to know what whining is?
    Guild Wars 2 players complaining that the next expansion pack is $40.
    We pay that AND a subscription fee AND face downtime.
    Notice the difference?

    There are nearly hundreds of forum complaints about this and only a single community manager response about Aether's datacenter just being too crowded because of Balmung and Gilgamesh. That's Jenova's fault because....? So we lose value out of our subscription because SE can't be bothered to maintain their DCs better? Its not like other DCs have been down. So its not even the whole launch, its this single neglected cluster of design. Other MMOs are also quick to respond to these matters and give players free time. There is nothing "humiliating" about it, until people like you come out and do it to yourself.
