Like I said brother, there is nothing claiming an SLA of 100% uptime in the EULA you signed with them. You pay for access, plain and simple. And bringing GW2 into this... that game has a cash shop to make their money instead of subs. GW2 had launch issues as well IIRC. I don't want to get into an internet battle, but as someone who works for a LARGE online gaming environment I can tell you this, they're working on it and it's not easy. The network team is having a much shittier weekend than you are, probably working around the clock with little rest, and are likely not getting paid any extra for their extra work. My point is, I know it sucks... but it comes with the territory for all popular MMOs.

EDIT: I meant to quote one person, quoted the wrong person... derping out here at work.

Whether the EULA says it or not makes zero difference. That's not what quality is about. Quality and customer representation is not about fine print in some agreement. Thats the whole point. That's what separates good companies from awful ones.

I don't care who you are or what you do. It has zero influence on this discussion. If they're not getting paid extra for their "extra" work, then that's yet another reason why we should be mad at SE as a company for not treating their employees right. Your response did not help at all.

And a lot of MMOs, as stated by multiple people, are quick to response to issues on their forums and support tickets. We've really not received any. We're completely stranded. And they usually give free time.

How would you know? There has not been one peep out of them ALL WEEKEND. This is part of the poor customer service we are talking about. At least if we had some communication that would be something. Nothing.
