That's kind of what everyone is saying. You'd get to use it reliably once a fight, and that's assuming you don't want to save it for TP instead.

if DRK is blunt im just going to laugh, would be a total mistake on SE's part though and would be changed to slashing before to long, they at least keep the damage types as close as possible to what they really are, only exception being some monk weapons are clearly more slashing/piercing, but the class as a whole is generally blunt
you do realize with the change to crit, monk will probably get the strongest buff directly from the stat changes right? stacking crit will actually affect bootshine now, and potentially even internal release, i wont be surprised to see BiS monks averaging close to or more than 40% crit rate now. This is really sad...while other DPS jobs got skills that boost their dps even more, we stuck with only Elixir Drive as our new added damage ability.
Auto attack from DET also got nerfed.
Forbidden Chakra and Tornado Kick have possibility not even use if boss in battle field most of the time orz
I'm using it for tp and stacking as much skill speed as possible. Gotta go fast!
Crit rate is the only saviour we have left depends on how good the damage is. Internal Release might not boost bootshine damage even more tho, since its only increase the rate, not the stats show in our status.you do realize with the change to crit, monk will probably get the strongest buff directly from the stat changes right? stacking crit will actually affect bootshine now, and potentially even internal release, i wont be surprised to see BiS monks averaging close to or more than 40% crit rate now.

It's a giant slab of metal. It could still sever limb's and "slash" due to it's weight alone. Keep in mind most swords weren't razor sharp because that can cause more damage to the blade than not.if DRK is blunt im just going to laugh, would be a total mistake on SE's part though and would be changed to slashing before to long, they at least keep the damage types as close as possible to what they really are, only exception being some monk weapons are clearly more slashing/piercing, but the class as a whole is generally blunt
also of note: looks like Tornado Kick costs over 100TP.
