Shoulder Tackle Stuns now.
Shoulder Tackle Stuns now.
Did they say anything about adjusting potency ratios of Monks skills?
They are changing Featherfoot, Shoulder Tackle and Demolish, nothing else. Don't know the changes to Shoulder Tackle, someone mentioned some nerf to Featherfoot, and Demolish lasts for 21 seconds instead of 18 now.
Demolish gets an extra tick, Featherfoot loses 5%, and Shoulder Tackle gets no changes. (this is according to datamining)
fetherfoot change must be PVP related right?

I'm wondering if Shoulder Tackle just got an animation lock reduction.
Featherfoot was going from nearly useless to "take it off your bar" in PvE; PvP is one thing, but if the nerf reflects that it's going to be more useful in HW then I'm okay with it?
If they really wanted to make Meditation work this way, then they could at least have made something more interesting than Move Form... It will be useful at times to keep GL, but if have to dodge or something right before using your last attack in combo(that would refresh GL), then Move Form wouldn't help at all.
They should've just made that an ability which could help with GL stacks, but actually is used as an attack in your normal rotation.
Also, Tornado Kick went from a pretty nice 500 potency attack, to a joke... In the most extreme downtime fights, you would still only use it 3 times or something, and the current potency won't do anything to your total DPS pretty much. 500 is a ton of potency, but considering it's low usage, it would still be balanced. Or at least make it 420 Potency or something

Meditation is listed as an Ability with a 1.5 second recast. This doesn't sound like it's going to effect the GCD. If you look at Form Shift it is listed as a Weaponskill with the typical 2.5s recast. This could be a key piece of info.
I agree, stance change won't really change anything other than for people that were average players in the class, when you learn the fight, you learn to time your attacks right so grease lightning is refreshed before moving, or so it doesn't become jarring without really suffering a significant DPS loss, the skill at it is now is good if the fights become random and not scripted by %'s which I don't think that will change, otherwise when you have a grasp of the fight that skill is pretty useless, it's nothing that drastically helps with the problems monk had, or significant gameplay change mechanics like dragoon and summoner, and even to a degree, ninja.
The way they made it sound in early reveal was, that you could hold or refresh your stacks during phase transitions or spend them to your choice, which I had assumed it would be interesting that if your stacks weren't salvageable you would use tornado kick, otherwise use meditate to retain the stacks or stop the timer for the duration of the skill or as long as it was constantly being used, but that was not the case.
