DEV REQUEST:DUEL/SPAR system

Every single class in this game can hold their own against the next. You just need to adjust your play style and get gud. It's the same for PvE. But once again, we aren't asking for rebalancing, we simply want a duel feature. It doesn't have to reward anything. Take a look at any other MMO where there was a rewardless duel system, no one cared what class versed what, most examples didn't even require the duellers to be the same level but it was still fun. Absolutely harmless fun that won't impact the guy who doesn't like PvP. Causing "server lag" is just ridiculous considering people out there doing PvE are generating just as much. Do we ask people to stop doing hunts or fates? No, please continue to your hearts content! Play the game how you want to play it, we have raiders, crafters, gatherers, casuals, and even PvPers.

Side note: if duels were to be put into the game it may even encourage those people who don't like to PvP to participate in it because they have the opportunity to practice fighting another player before being thrown into a team based setting like Frontlines/wolves den. They can overcome some of the pressure and fear of under performing which is a big reason why many don't do it (Also true for raiding). This could even help the current lengthy queue issues by having more people want to get involved. We expect people to research and practice for Coil, why not pvp? I say bring it on, duels are great for so many reasons and the cons are very few and the ones listed in this thread don't even make much sense.

No not every class can hold it's own. A bard could just run away, black mages and summoners get cast interruptions, tanks basically have immortality with proper use of CD's. And as i said, why would they add this to the game when it causes more issues than it would solve?
