Tsubame translates to "swallow," as in the bird (Karasu even taunts her with this, "Look, swallow, I know you love me."). Karasu similarly translates to "crow," which has nothing to do with his supposed surname (crows don't have red beaks).
He's called Redbeak because he has blood on his hands, or in the sense that his name means Raven/Crow(some sources say Karasu means raven), having a "redbeak" implies he has "blood on his beak" if you will.
