What I do have an issue with - this is not a Japanese game. I mean, yeah, most of the devs are Japanese

What if they don't feel comfortable about it? You can't push your views on everyone else you guys.
They have yet to make a statement about this, at all...because they know it'll be treading on the grounds of hell.
Like I said and another person here said; the response would most likely be, "Make a female character if you wish to wear their clothes."
