That's all fine and dandy and interesting, I've no issue with any of it.

What I do have an issue with - this is not a Japanese game. I mean, yeah, most of the devs are Japanese. But that's it. It's aimed at the international market, aimed at teens as well as young adults, available in dozens of countries, translated to numerous languages. It's not restricted to Japanese and it's not one of those games that are only available in Japan.

There are more than enough references/characteristics/events in the game already that are quite a bit Japan-specific, some so much so that without a basic knowledge of the Japanese culture, people don't even have a chance of understanding them.

Standards like clothing? It's not even a game set in Japan, historic or present day; it's a fantasy universe, with made-up places and characters. And yeah, like it's been pointed out - it's just not fair to the players.

Was I in a little better mood, I'd just say the only reason girls get guy outfits and guys don't get girl clothes is because they're simply afraid of the fact that many male characters would actually rock those clothes better than the females ever could. And that would be reason for another major outcry...
