So, can we get any answer to this? At least on airships - should we build it at start, or we will also lose it during transferring and it would be better to wait?

If you're lucky, the best you will get is a free transfer. You have no chance of getting a transfer with all the stuff you want.
Not really, EU was just a designation for players in EU time zones to go on the same server. it's not like they were deceiving the player and saying ya these are in EU. It's just a poor assumption to say that oh EU must mean the servers are in EU, the same way it be ignorant to say oh NA servers for XI must be in America, when in XI all servers were in Japan. The point that some people are missing is that there was no word of EU datacenter at launch. Yeah, so Ragnarok was branded as a "kind of" EU server, but everyone knew it was in Canada, so there was no real difference. Prior to London Fanfest last year, Yoshida never said they were even considering setting up shop in Europe. There was no reason to believe this situation would ever change. As such, SE does indeed have an abligation before EU players on NA servers to set things right.
I would think...
Outside of FC housing,
Anyone moving to EU servers will have many transfer limits lifted.
The idea of EU server is to give better support to EU players to take stuff away from them would be silly.
On a side note. Stock up on stuff to sell to NPC.
Well, you keep all items you have during transfer. The question is, can FC airships be placed in your inventory. If you're lucky, the best you will get is a free transfer. You have no chance of getting a transfer with all the stuff you want.

Sargatanas was nether a EU server since its creation during the merge 2012.
1.0 had only 1 EU server and that was Ragnarok (still EU server in ARR). But because no servers got merged into Ragnarok and nobody got transfered automatic to Ragnarok but only those who were active during the merge and applied for a transfer to it were on Ragnarok after the merge and at the start of ARR.

There has never been EU servers in FFXIV 1.0 or ARR 2.0.
There has been attempts to gather as many EU players as you could reach to the same server to increase the activity during the peak hours in EU. This was done by the players in 1.0 where the players tried to raise awarness and gather as many european players as they could on Lindblum. in 2.0 Square enix labeled servers as Recommended for Eu time zone players, as an attampt to gather ppl active during eu peak hours.
Eu has been waiting for its own region for FFXIV since it was announced it would be released with regional play for JP, NA and EU on its relaunch.
So when we do get the EU datacenter, we should be offered the same deal as was offered moving from FFXIV onto the ARR datacenters.
Lets not argue over something that still doesnt exist is my point, Heavensward is around the cornor. And we will be playing that on the NA datacenter, so prepare your hearts to be broken again. While we wait for our beloved datacenter. "Please look forward too it"

Nah.. You know, in 1.0 it was international servers only we had no EU neither american it was all mixed "i liked that ".
like many post before me, some EU community had decided this is the server where most we eu players gona be playing. Like balmung and sargatanas It had plenty of eu players.
But before 2.0 we all had chanse to save our data choised a data center and witch is today legacy servers.
So you had your chance if you played in 1.0 other then that is just ur self and bad eu community.
So bad luck..

Maybe before the merge in spring 2012.There has never been EU servers in FFXIV 1.0 or ARR 2.0.

But during the merge it was SE who wanted as many EU players as possible to gather in one new server
Ragnarok *
* Recommended for European time zone players

Ppl that are active during the EU Time zone ( EU peak hours ), you could be NA/JP and active during those hours aswell. But its all semantics and a moot point, its still not an EU server or world even.
You do play on Ragnarok the "EU world", its rather irrelevant as its still in canada. Wouldnt you agree that regardless of what the worlds are called as long as they are located in EU, everyone that wants to go there on its release should be able to do so. Regardless of where they live in the world.
I think we all want the same thing to enjoy the game as the best gaming experience it can be, and high latency and packet loss is severly hindering that objective for some players. And as a sidenote just because i dont have other ppls problems doesnt mean their problems dont exist, and vice versa.
