Oh really? Because it was like that with the FF11 summons? Noone is calling for planet sized summons, ones that are as big as the characters are fine. If you cant handle a few egis being bigger sized maybe you need a better rig

Hey your and individual too, you automatically assume because iam pro summoner not being a crap class that i want to summon Bahamaut and run around the city with him. I simply want the class to be fun and get some new egis and not stare at the same lame pets for another 2 years.

Exactly, summoners that dont summon anything but the same 3 pets over and over for years, i can deal with no getting primals to summon but no new egis is just dumb.

dot casters with pets have been around since before WoW, DAoC came out in 2001 and had 3 of them (Cabalist, Mentalist and Bonedancer). Just because WoW has been out long enough to have basically copied parts of every MMO before it, and in some cases after it, doesn't mean everything is copied from it, some aspects of MMORPGs are just common throughout the whole genre.
