    I'd say, if player reaches the point where they are able to equip the piece normally, the player should have the option to glamour it to any job. For example, the player shouldn't be able to glamour lvl 50 bard equipment, to an unrelated piece, until they've reached lvl 50 bard. That seems to be a reasonable limitation, at least to me. I'm pretty sure the game can detect this difference already.

    This is how it is in XI. As long as you have leveled the job and can actually equip the piece, you can glamour it onto any job. It really allows you to get creative with your look and I would totally be down for that in XIV.


    As others have said, there is no good reason for them to hold so firmly only to the job-specific glamours when people are running around in all sorts of ridiculous costumes.
