A huge disadvantage for new players?

New lv 50 tanks will certainly have a bad/hard time gearing up to the point where their ilv is acceptable enough as to not easily lose hate from other players.

It might take less than a week to fully gear up to that point, but I can see how it'll be discouraging.

Not very relevant and it's all in the past now, but for the future, if you're in a 4 man with a friend, you will always win the kick vote if you start the vote first. You don't need that 3rd person to vote to kick someone. All it takes is for the person who started the kick to have one person vote Yes.

In 4 man dungeons, it's pretty much a race to see who clicks the vote kick button first. Whoever does it first gets their way. Silly, but you can use it to your advantage since the vote kick feature leans towards Yes.

So, recently i made a new character on a new server, people don't seem to realise how difficult it is to now do stuff once reaching lvl50, so today i am ilvl 66, it has taken me 2-3 days to get that, from doing CT1, and a few lvl 50 dungeons, and buying stuff from MB, today during a Copper Bell HM and a Brayflox HM people dropped out multiple times because me and my fiancee (who is a paladin) could not "perform to their standards" for example, big pulls, high DPS, and not loosing aggro (A il60 Paladan vs a 110 Level synced DPS) They were vulgar, offensive and selfish. Now We like to play the new player card, get them to explain tactics and such as if we had never done it before, and this went badly.

New player can easily do two daily roulettes, main mission and lower levels (yes, it is more slow and steady progression). I would suggest if you are new to level 50 endgame, take one week to do the following dungeons I listed, as well as your daily Hunt + weekly and whatever rank A, S you can join plus daily beast men quest.

Start with these dungeons to get used to playing at endgame: Amdapor Keep, Halatali Hard, Hullbreaker Isle, Ifrit, Garuda, and Moogle King Hard Trials. These activities will get you passable amount of tomes and gears lvl 60-80. When you unlock Crystal Tower, add to the mix, Syrcus Tower spam for level 100 gears. Do these sets of run for about 3 days (mix it with other early endgame dungeons for first time bonus) - you should have enough soldiery to buy level 100 accessories.

On your 4th day, you can add Hauke Manor Hard, Snowcloak (if you are able to unlock via main story), Stone Vigil Hard and Tamtara Hard. You can also do First Coil stage 1 and 4. Also if you progress via main story, add Leviathan, Ramuh and Shivah hard mode for practice (and easy tomes).

And finally on your 6th-7th day, just spam Wanderer Palace Hard (and if you want, Amdapor Keep Hard) as your main bread and butter. You basically have around 18 dungeons + trials activity to cycle - enough variety for one week. By the end of this, you should have a good mix of level 90-110 gears.

Then finish the rest of the other dungeons so you can do roulette for hard mode + expert mode (as well as main mission and lower levels should you choose to continue).

If a fair share of new players weren't so hostile to simple constructive criticisms, perhaps the "d-bags" would be more open to being more welcoming.

Being new doesn't automatically mean that you're not an asshole.

This has literally never happened to me once in the context you are trying to convey and i have been playing this game since original launch. Then again if you make snarky remarks to people you're going to get attitude in return. What level was this person? Where you in an endgame dungeon? Maybe it was all they had to fill the slot being new? So many things you gloss over to make your very narrow point it almost seems like your intent was to just be contrary or defend being an elitist. I test my alt character how fast I can do whole content after ding 50 and there it is. Take 11 days for me get t13 down after ding 50. Take 11 days gear from ilvl 49 to 130. Complete every single quest and dungeon and trial. You can check dates of my achievements here. Did all content without fc help. Just using df and pf.

I got to 50 3-4 weeks ago and never had this problem. I'm ilvl 111ish and have done everything except turns 8+ of coil. Either you are unlucky or you don't have the right attitude when playing. If your tank husband doesn't know how to hold aggro and stay alive, that will also cause you problems. People will expect the important players to know how to play their class by 50. It's very hard to play with bad tanks or healers. It's also very obvious when one of those two roles is bad at their class.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; SE has unwittingly created and fostered the worst cesspool of MMO culture for their NA clients.

The following planets have aligned, and in doing so a wormhole to the netherregions of elitism, immaturity, exclusivity and selfishness has opened;

1. SE (Japan) has a fairly hands-off approach to NA needs/wants/desires (still no Gil-spamm solution, or harassment cross-check).
2. No progressive punishment for "convenient" AFKs/disconnections.
3. Little or no incentive for veteran players to invest time in crafting/dungeoning newbie things.
4. No actions on bot users (who have ruined whole server economies.)
5. A total disregard for anything but cosmetic improvements in UI (pony themes really help people clear Titan Ex).

BL: If it's not a problem on JP servers, it's not a problem SE is likely to address.
