Please remove all dodo products from the game. You are allowing wholesale slaughter of harmless animals& and it offends me greatly.
"OMG! I DON'T LIKE THING! REMOVE THING NOW!"
We should remove fishing too, since over-fishing is a problem in the real world right?

Oh, my, this thread is back from the dead. XD
There's no shame in eating shark as long as the shark was killed humanely. I'm guessing that a sharkburger is made with the meat of the shark rather than the fin, which would require butchering the shark properly, not just shearing off the fin and plopping the thing back in the water to die a slow, torturous death.
There's nothing special about sharks as meat animals. They're just another kind of fish. What has folks up in arms is the cruel practice of fin-harvesting, not the fact that sharks are being killed at all.

Dark unholy thread necromancy happening here.

23 pages for a toll post? you guys got baited. hard.
I approve this message. Would also like to add there is information to be had on this subject in the Documentary Eco-Pirate: The Story of Paul Watson.
Lastly, Shark Fin's don't even have flavor. it's a texture thing and you can get that out of a properly made flat dumpling. The problem is the people are being lied to by the government who is being lied to and manipulated by the lazy fishing industry. Don't get me started on how they are packaging whale and selling it as tuna.

OP I totally agree with you. Nothing representing or reflecting animal and human cruelty of our real world should be represented in a game.
We are already fighting outside in the world for cruelty and abuse to stop, please not here too. One thing is fantasy, killing a fantasy animal for items, another thing is bringing the reality and be reminded on how that animal with the same name is abused in the real world for the same purpose ingame. I wonder if those who defend the cruelty and say it's just a game, would feel the same if we had recipies containing cat meat or a coat containing golden retriever fur.
