The constant disbanding of Steps of Faith

Have you tried forming a party using party finder instead of duty finder?

And honestly its an mmo, so making friends in-game is the way you get things done quickly.

I have tried PF, unsurprisingly it seems not many people are wanting to do it. I can't blame people, but the fight isn't even that difficult, it's just the lack of communication and people instantly quitting that is frustrating.

Considering this stigma some people seem to have towards new players it is actually not that easy to find friends at 50 from my experience so far.

I have also played MMOs for long enough to know that preparation is not a bad thing, I watched videos, I read guides.. but what does that matter when you rely on other people where some of them instantly leave and the other new people don't want to do research because it would ruin the trial and story for them?

Ooo, interesting!

I've only ever gone to Steps when helping FC mates, but on those few occasions, we also constantly had a couple of drop-outs. I think what adds to the frustration is that there is no reset option. So because of that, you get a bunch of people running back to the boss at various points, being either low health, low MP, and just generally unorganized which causes a wipe more often than not. No time to be able to sit with the group and hash out a new plan.

I would certainly hope so, if you want Heavensward sales to be as high as possible.

No reset option in a long and tedious fight that takes 20 minutes to wipe, unclear mechanics, adds with a ton of health that can only be killed by artillery damage. Difficulty is fine if it was a regular Trial, but that's required in story mission, make it more accessible, DPS check is too high for the minimum ilv requirement to kill it, and add a "reset this trial" npc by the entrance as soon as the teleport appears.

I was hoping this didn't happen. I don't like how people who can't pay attention get their way even though its not even that hard. For once a piece of content which actually makes people work is going to be changed just great see what you did!?

Adjustment: Steps of Faith will now yield 11 Tomes of Soldiery instead of the previous 10.

@Remus, hopefully it's just a reset option in case of full wipe before the final barrier. I also think it is fine how it is and people just need to relax and work together better.
