Aren't Knight and Paladin more or less the same thing in this series?

true but still Difference Between Paladin and Knight in any games Paladin more unending evil/undead approaches Knight more Chivalry side, It Come down to code of honor Difference.
FF11 was true paladin FF14 more like Knight non Spell user I hardly use Cure or Protect only flash use MP and maybe sometime I use Stoneskin.
Combat mechanics are completely different FF11 you had to use Cure to get hate aggro Cure II ,Cure III FF14 shield lob combo combo combo to get hate aggro.
