I'm kind of excited to have a go at the Au Ra character creation but I just can't get over those super thinned-in waists of the males. What the heck is up with that...

I think the reason their waist is like that is because the males are supposedly to be at the very peak of physical conditioning. Not like super body builder just like 0% body fat or something which kinda looks like that. Thin waist and wide hips.

But according to this picture your fears might be real.



At first it just looks like where you pick different horns.
But look closer and you see the shape of the eyes and face differs aswell.
So maybe the horns are attached to the faces.

Edit: As I don't know Japanese I can't tell what the text say. So if anyone knows tell us. ^^

It's already been said, but: 顔＝かお＝kao=face. So it does literally say "face type" at the top That is indeed the face type selection menu. Since each face as different horns I guess it's safe to assume that horn types are tied to faces much like eye types are. We can only hope that there's a separate "horn" type selection like they do with eyes that differ per face style.

The females should have less of a cutesy/gloomy look and more of a fierce look, or at least a gloomy but intimidating look imo, and should be taller and look less like a stick.

I vote for this being the primal summon for au ra, if there ever is primal summoning >.>;; because that is pretty epic, dusk mother prime!

could of been a thought then another scrapped idea as they got closer to finalization.

The lore so far also questions their relation to dragons, honestly I am just going to go with them having elements of both, its official in their lore that scholars apperently debate their origin..
