The females are considerably taller than Miqo'te females, unless you are forgetting Lalafell. Au Ra female seem to stand in between a Hyur Midlander to Highlander, but are a lot more slender than both.

The excitement is building, I will be making an Au Ra, will be kawaii af.

Midlander minimum height is the same as Au Ra maximum height. A Miqo'te can still be shorter than an Au Ra, but not at minimum height for both races.
Female Au Ra: 4'10 - 5'2
Female Miqo'te: 4'10.9 - 5'3
Female Midlander: 5'2 - 5'7
Female Highlander: 5'6 - 6'1

There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.

Perhaps you should've checked the thread before responding. There are already info about female au'ra heights, they are roughly 1 inch shorter than miqo'te females. Male au'ra are seemingly on average 2-3 inches shorter than male roegadyns. It puts them right in the spots of second tallest/second shortest.

I'm just a little concerned that it looks like horn type is determined by face type. Anyone know if this is the case?
I would hate if I loved one face but hated horns that come with it..

Information constructed by players. Perhaps you should look at the hard evidence provided by Square Enix.Perhaps you should've checked the thread before responding. I'm confused. Numbers taken from a live stream of the character creation isn't hard evidence, but a picture taken of a trailer streamed from the same conference is?
This is far more "hard evidence" than an oddly angled screenshot in which we don't know the heights of the characters (could easily be a min height Miqo & a max height Au Ra), along with terrain, poses, distance, etc.
Even if the text isn't crystal clear, it's still readable.

Which screenshot, this one?
They look very close to same height to me, camera angle, tilted terrain and the au'ra being closer would lead me to believe the au'ra has a higher setting on height scale than the miqo'te at best but odds are they are both 50 as it tends to be the default. 1 inch isn't going to be easily spotted unless they stand right next to each other and don't have some form of pose where they look taller/shorter than they are.
The numbers are from the benchmark, not just some imaginary numbers made up by players.
