Au Ra character creation pictures from Nico Nico!

The males (mostly) look pretty cool so far -- if not for that pesky being gigantic thing, I bet I could make a gorgeous one to play. But no matter, the ladies are looking so beautiful I am sure I will be happy playing one.

I am hoping their emotes and such lean more towards elegant than cutesy, though. I may be the minority, but I've always liked how elegant the Elezen ladies' emotes and poses are.

This. I love the Elezen poses and emotes so much I could play one just for them but I don't like tall characters and their bodies are atrocious to me. And I mean, those emotes would fit them so much better. At least for the Raen. I suppose the Xaela could have cutesier emotes from being around other races, but I'd prefer them be rougher, like how the Highlanders are to Midlanders.

If you mean their /pose emotes then I think these were some of them which was shown with Au'Ra release but I don't think they showed both males in one, the females however look like they are both using one.

I meant their literal default pose. not their /poses.

The picture of the miqo'te and Au Ra standing next to eachother might be it, but i don't know.

What don't you like about it? Just wondering.
They seem awesome to me especially all the customization for them. Personally I cant wait to get my hands on the benchmark and play around with it

To me, they're just a Hyur with new bits glued onto them. SE even calls them Hyur-like, which is really disappointing. Something like a Dwarf would honestly be better, because it would at least be something different (a small race that doesn't look like a child).

Ah, I see.. I think I saw it for just a literal second at the end of that same video but it'd be interesting to see it for just a little longer. Most stances look -almost- the same to me with slight differences and a lot of people use /pose these days so I just forget that the original poses have some differences to them as well honestly.

So from the nico nico stream, there seems to be 4 tail types, tail length can be changed, and 4 face/horn types that are shared throughout the clans. The color of the outer eye ring can be changed(full palette). Lots of glorious hair. Male Au Ra have a big saiyan hairstyle.

well, atleast now we know what a naked Au Ra (male/female) look like. They have scales on their thighs, although the males scales are alot more pronounced whereas females arent.

Not sure if female au ra have scales on their backs like the males do though. Gotta wait for those screenshotsscreenshots

What's surprising is that despite the horns the au Ra are able to wear a lot of the older hairstyles.

Regarding height:

Female height: 147cm (4'10) to 158.5cm (5'2)
Male height: ??? to 217cm (7'1)

So, females are about miqo'te height instead of hyur if I'm looking at it right? (Multiple sources say Miqo'te female = 4'10 - 5'3, Midlander female = 5'2 - 5'7)

i wouldn't say that, some are similar but they all look very different the /joy was my fave from the au ra so far that i have seen and /examenself did look like a male miqote but was a bit better tuned for them, but those are the emotes from the benchmark i still wanna know what all the rest of those emotes look like
