Just look through the forums, all those complaining about content, their words, are skilled players that know all the mechanics, it's always the others holding them back.
I'm not doing coil. Ever. I don't have the time. Nor am I available to play at specific times. How is it embarrassing that I have a job and a life outside the game?
A lot of the hatred comes from jealousy and that, in a way, we are an easy demographic to target with vitriol. Not saying all players that have cleared coil legit (aka not paid for it) are polite people. But neither are all casual of which Ive seen more foul mannered examples than within the succesful raiding community.Thank you so much for this post. People always want to lump end game raiders as elitist and most of us aren't. I promise we're not, especially when I go from t13 farming to helping out my friends in t9 for hours upon hours into the night. Thank you Silverstorm and Mercutial for the honesty about endgame raiding.
Not to mention, how many casual players take so much time out of their schedule to write all the great guides that are available to everyone on the internet? No, it's the players that get branded with the "Elitist" tag that go that extra 10 miles to give back to the community by creating them.

So do all our static, families, full time jobs.We adjust weekly schedules to fit everyones commitmants.
Like any hobby you do with friends, you organise for whne you all can attend.
Please stop using the excuse that you cant raid and have a family, a job. If you don't want to do the content, then fine. As long as you enjoy what you do, that is all that matters.
If you are in progression group, sure its a significant time investment. Now? it REALLY doenst take a lot of time to clear coil. And please get out with your having a job and life outside the game talk. PLenty of people clear coil in 1-2 hours every week and then dont talk to their static again until the following week.
You can pretty much do T1-4 DFed while half asleep, or possibly with a cat to walk across your keyboard/controller for you, if you haven't already. T4 especially >.>
T1-4 isn't really going to get you anywhere, but they're still pretty fun/unique to do (not contesting, just offering that those aren't bad/scary/time-needing at all ^^ *Eats words and /grovel if they were gone through already, though*)

Depending on friends t5-8 can be just as easy. Probably the same with t9 but I haven't been in there myself so can't really comment. You can pretty much do T1-4 DFed while half asleep, or possibly with a cat to walk across your keyboard/controller for you, if you haven't already. T4 especially >.>

They beat us in Coil completion, yet in the mean time failing at things that actually matters like the economy lol. Let them keep their Coil completion and we'll count our dollars lol
