lol here in NA server might as well call it "DF practice" and "DF hope for a free carry"I wish SE would do something like have 2 queues. DF practice and DF expert. Expert means you cleared it and capable to clear, practice means you haven't and you should get put with others that need practice as well. On the NA servers usually don't end well when you have people expecting to clear it in 1-2 trys and people who never done the fight making it so people who have already cleared leave and thus everyone must requeue.

One of the problems with PF that could be fixed is that it isn't cross server. You have a much smaller group of people to pull from when it is just your server. Blizzard made a party finder feature in WoW that is cross server in the newest expansion. I think they actually got the party finder idea from FFXIV but improved on it made it cross server. When making practice groups which fewer people need its very hard when confined to 1 server.
I don't see why SE couldn't do the same thing. It would be much cooler if I could play with anyone that plays FFXIV then just the small amount of of people on my server. You could post on the forums for help and then get help from anyone pretty much.

WOW has always had a PF before the cross server integration, it was just terrible and was hard to get to.One of the problems with PF that could be fixed is that it isn't cross server. Can't get past T5 since I don't have a group to go with and DF's a waste of time.
One of the new guys in my FC DF'd and cleared it on his first attempt literally yesterday. They wiped a few times to divebombs according to him but figured it out and apparently there were two rage quits that were refilled too.
I used to screw around during downtime before final coil came out by queuing into T5 to help people, not a ton of clears, but there were definitely clears.
Which is a pretty stupid rule, because a lot of deaths occur due to someone else's screw up.Most of the PFs I see say this and I've seen some try to enforce rules like if you die you can't roll on a pony if it drops.
*says this as he repeatedly gets blown up by healers in Ifrit EX that never seem to know where to stand*

Lol, had a run once where tank was blaming melee dps for wipes, because we kept getting blown up by same healer as we went counterclockwise killing nails, told us we should just skip the nails that the healer was at and run back after debuff dropped... yea, make 2 highest dps in your party lose uptime, so healer doesn't have to move 15 feet.
You know what is actually embarrassing?
The 4 abandoned WoDs in a row I've been in tonight.
WoD is too hard for most NA players apparently.

it's painful. I gave up on getting the minion a while back, now I may have to give up on glamour too.
