    They should've made the running animations between boys and girls while drawing weapons out different too.
    Eh, and the standing pose while drawing weapons too.

    I love my WHM/Gandalf running with my staff out animation. Would not want it changed at all!

    Everything graphics had to be scaled down to be playable. Those animations are part of it. When I were in beta, had to quit testing because my PC were no good enough to play the game, and it wasn't cheap hardware.

    To get them back I guess we need to wait several years, when graphics so powerful to handle something like the 1.0 will be in the average PC.

    In the while, we can now enjoy a 2.0 Ul'dah full of life, rather than an empty town as we see in the linked video.

    This is why I play NIN. New fangled fancy running for Elezen.

    I hope if they do take a second look at running and poses it will be for all the races. Though it seems our universal fighting stance is here to stay.

    A lot of the things people seem to miss from 1.0 are the graphics (along with some story elements). When PS3 support gets discontinued, they can do more with this game's graphics engine without worrying about PS3s everywhere exploding.

    Didn't the game perform so horribly back then because of the god-awful optimization? Rather than the graphics. The graphics played their part, though.
