I doubt they have only three people on that team. I would more believe that the three people in the credits are the department heads. Also, there is no way to stop RMT without removing trading from a game. Period. FFXIV is the new trendy game, so they flock there to get as much business as possible. WoW had a similar problem during BC and Wrath but died down because the game started to suck. The only difference between FFXIV and WoW is the addons that the community made that blocked 99% of spam tells, and unfortunately blocked a large amount of legit tells.

WoW solved this issue completely with WoW tokens now though. There are ways to solve the issue.

It didn't completely solve it. There are still RMT tells in WoW. The cost of gold at a 3rd party is still cheaper then the cost of a token.

EDIT: Out of curiosity I went and checked something. WoW Gold currently averages 40 cents for 1000 gold. WoW tokens average for about 20k gold. They cost $20 from Blizzard. 20k gold from a 3rd party is $8. I can totally see people buying gold at $8 to get a token to pay for their subscription.

I'm frankly disgusted by this. Its becoming more and more obvious each day that Yoshida and SE have zero actual care about the community, and are content to see it destroyed.

I cancelled my pre-order today. SE doesnt deserve my money.

After the second or third time of posting in the wrong forums, you'd probably get your forum account suspended or banned. Breaking the rules is not the way to complain.

I can totally see people buying gold at $8 to get a token to pay for their subscription.

Actually you can now use in game gil to pay for subs in wow according to a co worker of mine
