I do think it would not be hard if the devs were to upgrade to DX12 in the future. All they would need is change the API? Or the runtime or whatever. I'm not a guru or anything, but I think it would not be that hard to do.
doubt it will happen before 4.0, that's when I hope they end PS3 support. Of course you have my like anyway.![]()
DX12 only runs on Win 8.1 and higher. We're not getting DX12 for a long time. It's not even out yet and it's more than just API changes.

Uncompressed textures, even if it's not high resolution, would hopefully eliminate the terrible jaggy/muddy textures we see.Furthermore, with the DirectX 11 version, characters will be rendered with uncompressed textures, making them look even more impressive. The visual quality of objects in the background has also improved, and even the texture of characters’ skin will look more realistic.
