how tough are ya
how tough are ya
I drink my milk in a skull mug, partner.
I fight titan in nothing but a loincloth and my bare fist.
I openly tell people that WoW is a better game than FFXIV.
I eat a bowl of GNB ammo cartridges for breakfast. With a mug of ale, obviously. I'm not barbaric.
I soloed Chaos.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Real story:
When I had my first foray into Savage (solo pugging e1-4s), I was living abroad and my computer started breaking.
First, the beast started chugging. It steadily worsened, but when it leveled out I was playing at 9-12 fps.
No one around me was able to service my foreign laptop, so I made do.
Then (around E2S) my controller began requently and randomly ddisconnecting, but the best part is that when it would reconnect, it would sometimes do so with a different button map!
Found out it was a computer hardware error so getting a new controller or new cable didn't fix it. I just had to do my best and get really fast at resetting my controller mid raid.
Finally, (around E3S) my keyboard went under. It was a problem not with the drivers, but with whatever runs the drivers, because not even getting a USB keyboard would work, and reinstalling the drivers didn't fix it for more than 4 minutes before my computer auto deleted the drivers.
So I had to slooowly type and coordinate with everyone (in solo que nonetheless)... with an onscreen keyboard that I could never minimize.
I cleared that tier, and half of the next before I was able to go home for vacation and buy a new laptop.
I once shot a man in the Quicksand just to watch him die.
Of course, then four lalafells started trying to bid on rights to the burial, but that's Ul'dah for you.
