Please start the new jobs at level 1

RotZ and ToAU jobs weren't gated behind the main storyline either, so yeah.

FFXI and XIV are different games....That's why.
Can't always have what XI had.

Also jobs here begin at 30...you know, WHM,DRG,WAR so on...so...yea.

I'm trying to find out why is this such a huge deal...like seriously, why is everyone upset? O_o;
If you really want to be level 1...go and and do FATE's and dungeons from 1-30...you aren't FORCED to go from 30 and up.
I just didn't want 50 because we'd have so many bad players derping around...at 30, we're at Haukke and got a bit of skills in our disposal.
Not fun doing 1-2 1-2 skills for x amount of levels. It's going to be real fun, can't wait.

what it will bring to be 1? as player that have already a 50+ you will pass from 1-15 in less of 4-5 hours at worst... what the point to start 1? without forget you have enough experience for know how work a jobs really fast since you will have experience the combat system for 50 level!

why they did take out the class from the new jobs? less work for them ! like this every jobs will be unique! they can't take out the class system (even if i'm sure they want it now since it more a pain than a good thing) i will not be extremely surprise if we only get jobs quest pass 50, no class quest. same, i will not be surprise to see only jobs skill passed this level. it will be a great thing especially for differenciate more summoner and scholar.

Lol, if you think I want FFXI 2.0 you're sorely mistaken. I loved playing FFXI, but I wouldn't want a repeat of all the bad stuff that the game had too.

Like someone already pointed out here, all the other jobs have classes, by this logic the new ones should have them too, but they don't.

As for why this is a big deal for some people, some of us actually like leveling new jobs from scratch. It's stupid that they take out the small grind from 1-30 that can be done in a couple of days.
