Please start the new jobs at level 1

In the live letter you announced that the new jobs will be starting at level 30. Is it too late to change this? I'd rather not be denied the 1-30 experience on the new jobs.

Unfortunately it seems too late for that now, but I must admit I would have liked to start at level 1 also.
Half the fun I have had in this game is from leveling up. It feels like SE is taking away some of that fun by making the new jobs start at 30.

Perhaps a feature like this would be something to consider in the future?
    Edit:

I just want to clarify some things for people. ^^

    1. The "This is a Job not a Class" argument.

This makes me giggle every time. Of course these are Jobs, how dumb do you think people are? But what is the difference between a Class and a Job? A piece of equipment. Sure you unlock it at level 30 but once you have it you are free to sync down to any level content the game requires and you are still that Job. Syncing sub 30 doesn't suddenly make you a Class again. So since these new Jobs are classless there is no reason, lore wise or system wise, that they can't start at level 1.

    2. The "leveling = tutorial" argument.

While it's true that leveling up is a great way to learn your class, I have total faith that the player base is capable of picking up these new jobs at level 30 or even 50 and being able to figure them out no problem. This game really isn't that complicated.

All I'm trying to say is that "I" want to level from 1-whatever because "I" find it enjoyable.

Thank you for your time. ^^ Please continue to leave your thoughts and feed back, but please be nice to each other.

If it's announced, it means the final decision is made. Sorry but a request like this is going to fall on deaf ears.

Just because it begins at level 30 does not mean that you cannot enter level capped areas with it and be allowed the 1-30 experience on the new jobs.

It makes sense as all jobs start at Lv30, technically speaking. But I can certainly understand wanting to start at Lv1 and work your way up, learning all of the new skills as you acquire them.

I'm personally glad it's starting at 30, and while I would've straight-up preferred Level 50, I think level 30 is ultimately the best middle ground for both sides who want a 'leveling experience' and those who don't want to be bored starting at level 1 again with a whole 1-2 buttons.

Ultimately, you can level a new character if you want the "1-30" experience. I've leveled two characters, one of which is my main/Omni character. The other of which is my little healing flower. :3 But I wouldn't wish that 1-30 experience on anyone.

Personally I was gutted by this announcement. The leveling experience is on of my favorite things about playing RPGs and they've just cut out 50% of that.

I love the leveling experience too, I think some of the most fun I have in game is while leveling up a new class. I would have preferred starting at level one, like you, but level 30 is a good compromise. Since each level takes more exp to gain than the last they're not cutting out nearly as much leveling time as you might at first imagine.

Considering lvl 41 is only half the EXP you need to get from 41 to 50, yeah it's not like they're cutting out a ton of EXP like you said, so it's moot either way. but im glad for this, lvling in XIV is drop dead boring. im one of the rare fews who liked EXP PTs though in 1.0 days over the dugneon/Fate grind it is now. :x so maybe im just weird.

I don't really see a reason to put them at level 1. Leveling 1 to 30 is so fast people won't even miss it, unless they just really like Tam Tara Normal.
