I'm grasping at straws here but... some things just don't add up for me how everything went down.

I'm very suspicious of the Sultana's death. She confided in the Warrior of Light as if she KNEW she was about to disappear off the face of the earth. "I need you to take care of Raubahn."

Considering her personality, she probably just meant that she will be powerless and useless to really do anything and she wants you to help Raubahn since you aren't powerless and useless.

The only thing about that is though, the 2.5 storylines have never made us feel more useless in the grand scheme of things. I really didn't need my jazz hands of light before I got 'em to be able to take down baddies (or even after for that matter), why am I suddenly only able to look emotionless and constipated in every CS?

I think that's what irritates me the most about this wrap-up for 2.0. Essentially, all this work, for nothing. Everyone's "dead", evil or can't help themselves, the way things stand right now. Not that I was terribly disappointed to see Minfilia get washed down the drain...

I see alot of plot holes(Or are they...), but seeing as its an FF game I have faith in SE. They probably have a plan that, when we stand back and look after, will blow your minds! They have always been good about this sort of thing.....cept that one time**cough ff10 cough**
The 2 storys have to work together considering you cant do 3.0 story until ARR story is completed. They wouldnt want to spoil the real ending by making 3.0 a side by side story line!

Thank you, SE. It was overwhelming - I'm still overwhelmed way too much. So, excuse my jumbled-up first thoughts. It was great too. The overall transition to the move to Ishgard is actually well done. The details though... the passivity and silence of our character really needs to change. I mean, for Menphina's sake, this is a roleplaying game. And the player characters themselves have no personality, no voice whatsoever. It just needs to change. Raubahn turning into a right badass mofo was bloody awesome, and seeing Teledji slain was a much needed and very well placed piece of resolve just there. What I'm not at all convinced about though, is the fact that with the powers the Scions wield, they need to go and sacrifice them because of a few common soldiers. So, you better bring them back. Please.

On a personal sidenote, I'm very much relieved Alphinaud's safe. Thank you for that. I know many hate him, but he's my precious. @.@ (Can we get a wind-up Alphi minion now please?) Oh and putting Answers in the end credits was downright cruel. The stress relief after everything's revealed is far too great anyway, and I've never been able to just simply listen to that song without crying.......... @.@
