Look, FFXIV is entertaining, but the story is dumb as hell and full of plot holes. It's fine, whatever, if I played this game solely for the storyline I'd be dumber than the story itself. I don't understand why some of you get so riled up when people point out the obvious. It's like an action movie, full of dramatic custscene that don't make any sense when you think about them, but they're not made to make you think, they just need to entertain you and they do their job alright.
