Our passive characters and why the 2.55 story fails (BIG SPOILERS) (rant warning)

Might as well call all the Scions monsters then because they were going to be put in prison as well but fought anyway because it wouldn't make a difference in the situation. As they said in the next scene by Raubaun he knew you didn't do it and we all know most people in Ul'dah know the Brass Blades are the most corrupted. So fighting a few guards to make your way to the hall where everyone is and telling them something happened to the sultana would do less damage and they can investigate. You mention having teammates and too be honest the only reason you have teammates is because of the MMO aspect. Tell me why the heck would you waste time getting your friends when Minfilia just got kidnapped by a Ascian and they even say enter quickly before the rift closes =_=.

There were many ways they could have approached this quest but the one they picked was the worse. I can bet most people would prefer fighting while escaping instead of just running away. In my opinion i would rather them have it so its a solo duty and you are escaping Ul'dah while fighting guards trying to make for the exit. That would be more interesting right now just made my character look like some weak guy which annoys me a little. As I said before I don't mind the story as a whole but they should have taken a different approach. It sort of ended with your character being some weak guy who runs from a few soldiers and taking shelter in Ishgard. In that whole cutscene the only person with some form of combat skills who didn't fight was me.
