As has been mentioned before, the whole NIN = MNK thing is a skewed perspective. NIN puts out a LOT of dps right at the beginning of the fight, while mnk, inversely has a slow buildup to hit max dps potential. In a shorter fight, yes, NIN will contend with, and probably beat mnk. On a long drawn out fight, like, say, anything Final Coil, which, let's face it, is really the only thing that matters at this time, NIN's dps will start to level back out, while MNK's will keep going strong, and, literally, the only thing that can slow it down, is the loss of GL. But, again, there is -almost- always a way to avoid letting this happen, and even if it does, it really, REALLY, should not happen more than once a fight in, really, any of the coils, unless you really wanna count travel time between trash, or nodes in turn 2. It might happen a few more times in -some- of the primal fights, but hey, that's just how it goes.
