Because they stood under Vishap's foot and dies

Seriously, that's the only thing that kills.
Hasn't been in my experience. I have been one-shotted by several other things in this fight, like exploding berthas.

Speaking of Vishap though, his feet do way too much damage, considering the strategy seems to be "pile the mobs under him to get blasted by the cannons"

Do you see the size of Vishnu? It's a blessing that the bridge still holds under his weight lmao. His feet deal too little damage in my opinion lol

Oh no not at all. If it's any less damage than that, nobody would bother to duck, and it'll be all on the healer to "just heal through". You know, like the Bone Dragon adds? I applaud how the stomp damage is balanced. An iLv 110 tank could easily survive a stomp, an iLv 110 healer could, too, but it will be close, with weakness? You'll get one-shot. That is just perfect.

It's just very hard to see sometimes where you can't go, because the mobs are too numerous + take up too much space.
It's trivial to avoid the feet. It's always the one behind that is going to move to the front. You know, like how human beings walk. Left, right, left, right,..., there is no excuse to getting stomped by Vishap. If adds are getting into the way of the dps, then the tank is kiting them too close to the belly. While it's safer for the tank to kite under the belly, it's just as safe (the left, right, left, right thing) to kite in-between the front claws.

Ranged can stay by the tail meaning never getting into range of adds nor get the disappearing dragon trick, so no excuse getting stomped. Can't melee just shift between left and right rear feet, which would prevent the disappearing dragon trick, too? It's trying to stay under his belly that cause him to disappear.
