hrrmmm.....

so i'm pretty sure at least Yda is still alive. in the previous quest with her, rowena makes a comment about her "old mask" or some such. then Yda later comments that it isn't the first time she's heard this from rowena... later still her mask is shown broken.

the mask is Chekhov's gun, she is still alive, and will probably come back with a new costume. i don't think they wouldn't have pointed it out so obviously otherwise.

at least that's how i choose to interpret it

I am very positive about this finale. It was amazing, bravo to those involved.

Really enjoyed many events that took place, and hey they had a plan for that carriage-riding guy all along. Full circle throwback.

Once again, many new questions (*shakes fist at Urianger*) to wait many months for a resolution.

Damn I am amazed, while the start of 2.0 story was a bit weak for me, I started to like it with ifrit, but these last story just blows my mind, I loved it, every minute, everything felt "right" for me.

And when I read some people who don't seem to like this, I am really amazed. Like, did we watch the same CS? How couldn't you like this stuff?
My heart was so moved, so it is hard to believe people don't like this.

But everyone has their own taste...

Anyway I enjoyed it, and can't wait for more story!

I think a lot of people skim dialog and text and miss some things but their brain completes the missing parts anyway. Like the person who thought Urianger is betraying us this whole time.. when the dialog makes it obvious its a diplomatic meeting. Urianger calls him emissary and he calls Urianger archon.

Also, why would you want to resist arrest?! Lets humor some of you and say your character is as godlike as you think, at that point youve just become a monster, they think you are guilty of something and now you are murdering hundreds of them. The people wont care if you are innocent anymore if you slaughter the average city guard for just doing his job.

Yeah there can't be the tiniest doubt that Urianger is on our side as he's always been. I do wonder what Elidibus has in mind, though. Honestly I wouldn't be all too surprised if he'll have a hand in saving the scions.

(But before that, let me express my annoyance with the players in the random Duty Roulette finder who rage quit on first or second wipe on a new trial battle that ONLY JUST CAME OUT TODAY. )

I had really luck with my team, but I had 3 friends with me, who had done it before in a team with rage quitters.

It really is annoying how some people ruin it. I love when things won;t go smooth from start, it feels great when you win, when you first had a hard time.

Scolding doesn't help, it doesn't make anyone better, it make them worse. Give people time to know how it all works, give 3 people roles, with our team 1 of the tanks did towers and me and other dps did the cannons. when that was clear it worked really smooth.

With the way the English version portrays Midgardsormr, I'm more curious what he *actually* says in the original JP. In the English version, all he says strikes me as little more than "Hahah, silly mortal. Keep trying in vain."

I don't know about you, but...

I'm really hoping to put the pointed end of my blade to Laurentius' neck. That's twice he sold out for profit. Should've left his dishonored ass to wallow in his pity. I can't say that we shouldn't have saw this coming. Ilberd being the traitor, I always had my suspicions. Though I was fooled with the red herring. Kudos, SE

For those screaming "Who didn't see that coming!? Are you all blind!?", you MUST take into account that we, the player, are being allowed to see things that the characters themselves are not.-Snip- Thou must learn the meaning of the art of story telling and how each character sees things individually from us viewers if thou insists on thinking it was so easy of a trap to spot.

Yes, I know we see things that other characters don't, and I thoroughly understand the "meaning of the art of story telling". I did a lot of text-based RP for a good number of years, so I understand how a plot and story are framed. That being said, if you read later on in my posts how 3 individual moments for just your character (not entire scenes, just individual moments) stack together to say "something is very very wrong".

With everything the Scions have been through already, all the betrayals and traitors, one would think they would be more aware of things that are out of place, but they don't.

But then, I was always the person plot hated because I figured out almost all of their little 'tricks' too quickly for them. Point is, there were plenty of signs given to each character, yet not even one suspects anything in the most obvious of setups.
