I'd love to stand with you guys and I think the price should all be comparative instead of just a flat 1$=1€=1£...... But I need my CE..... I'm sorry. :'(
So were i wanted to get CE i think not the price tag is way to high its **** like this that upsets me and puts me of getting DLC for games and ****. Its not a tax issue as tax is not 50% this is just pure greed on SE behalf but not to blame as it seems to be an industrial standard to beef up prices for UK players (and others).
I had a little faith that after all the problems over the past couple of days that this wouldnt happen and it has! Bad show SE, bad show.
Yep, just going to get the standard edition from a local place, who are offering a lovely discount. If i decide to get the CE upgrade later i'll still be getting it cheaper than if i got the digital CE.
Such a shame that SE won't be getting the full amount. But they don't deserve to.
I decided to pre-order the standard edition, not gonna pay them that much money for no real reason. I only really wanted the artbook out of the CE but if there were ever extra ce left they will eventually go super cheap, I will buy then. I still see ARR CE locally in my country and they sell them for like $25.
Sebs did you report them on that website? I had a quick look but it seems like it's a last port of call so might need to speak to SE first, no idea how to if about that though since they don't seem to be responding here!
I'm sure if you gather enough evidence of people asking on here and on twitter that would be enough.
Maybe Replies: 367, Views: 32,734 isnt enough for them to take notice. I guess all the CE will sell out this morning and at that point they will care even less.
Well I went on the store today with the hopes that they was going to change the price and they didn't... today marks a very bad day for the UK fans. Apparently its £108 before VAT one Twitter user mentioned to me but still a kick in the teeth for that price... sad day indeed.
I sent off an email enquiring about it yeah. Still not 100% sure if licensed software falls under this regulation unfortunately. It's well worthwhile popping an email to the uk office mentioning it though, as ever, the more people raise the issue, the more likely something is to actually happen about it.
And yeah, it's safe to assume that the UK and EU stock draws from the same pool, so a UK no show won't change anything (Except the profit margins!).
And just to stress the point again, try to remember this pricing nonsense is almost certainly down to SE's finance department rather than anyone we are going to find on here. I fully except the SE-EU team are just as frustrated and powerless about this as we are.
